Mamajuama is a spice alcholoic beverage made by infusing a mixture of rum, red wine, and honey with tree bark and herbs. The taste is similar to port wine and the color is a deep red. It's made from pure herbs and it takes years for it to be officially completed enough to taste all its natural flavors.
The guira is a very strange looking instrument because it looks like a cheese grater. It is a metal scrapper which includes a stick. you hold the handle of hte guira with one hand, and use your dominant hand to lightly scrape off the guira.
